Designer Barbra Bui initially got her start in the literary field and soon translated her love of the beauty of words into shapes, fits, and silhouettes. Introducing her eponymous line in 1987, Bui initially worked solely with leather, exotic skins and suede, eventually widening her design spectrum with each subsequent collection.
