Who We Are
Current Boutique is the DC area's destination for authenticated luxury designer consignment. With four boutiques — in Clarendon, on 14th Street in DC, in Old Town Alexandria, and in Georgetown — plus a constantly refreshed online store, we give pre-loved designer pieces a second life and give our customers access to the brands they love at a fraction of retail.
Why We Started
Current Boutique was founded in 2007 by Carmen Lopez, who saw a smarter, more sustainable way to shop for designer fashion. What began as a single boutique has grown into four locations and a thriving online community — but the idea hasn't changed: beautiful designer pieces deserve more than one owner, and great style should be within reach.
Our Community
Our consignors and our customers are two halves of the same community. Consignors earn money from the designer pieces they no longer wear; shoppers discover one-of-a-kind finds they won't see anywhere else.
