About Carlos Miele

Pre-Owned Carlos Miele is Brazilian eveningwear with handwork built into the seams — the São Paulo designer works with artisan cooperatives, so the draping, crochet and bias cutting are done by hand rather than approximated by machine. The silk is cut on the body, which is why these pieces hang the way they do.

What we carry here is a single blush halter dress in silk. It is authenticated and condition-graded in-house before listing and photographed on the actual garment, with the bias seams and any silk marks noted. The cut runs close and long — use the measurements on the listing rather than the label.
