About Karta

Pre-Owned Karta does one thing and does it densely — the beaded shift dress, in red, beige, green and black, with the embellishment worked across the whole body rather than placed at a neckline. These are occasion dresses where the handwork is the entire garment.

Our Karta listings are shift and cocktail dresses almost exclusively. Every piece is authenticated and condition-graded in-house before it goes online, with beadwork checked for losses and any repairs noted, then photographed on the actual garment. Sizing runs S to M here and close to the body — use the measurements on each listing.
