The leather is unlined and untreated by design, so it darkens and softens with use rather than wearing out, which makes a second-hand bag arguably the more interesting one.

Mansur Gavriel's bags are widely copied, so authentication comes first here: every piece is verified and condition-graded in-house — leather grain, edge paint, interior stamp and hardware checked — then photographed on the actual item so patina and corner wear are visible.
