About Walter
Pre-Owned Walter is Walter Baker's label, and it is built for the evening — lace, silk and stretch cotton cut close, in short shapes meant to be seen rather than to disappear. The fabrics are chosen to hold a line through a long night, which is the same reason they still hold it for a second owner.
Our listings here are concentrated in cocktail dresses, with the occasional printed jacket. Every piece is authenticated and condition-graded in-house before it goes online, with lace, seams and stretch recovery assessed, then photographed on the actual garment. The cut runs small and close to the body — use the measurements.

Everything we carry is one of a kind and sells once, so stock turns over constantly — and all of it comes from local closets. If you own Walter you no longer wear, we'd like to see it.
